Zero Trust Network Engineer

- Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of a high-distributed network adhering to zero trust principles - Assist in designing and implementing SD-WAN based network architecture across multiple global sites - Configure, install, and manage network hardware such as routers, switches, and firewalls - Plan, execute, and document network upgrades, expansions, and optimizations - Establish protocol compatibility standards - Act as a subject matter expert in zero trust network architecture - Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including architecture diagrams and configuration logs - Diagnose and resolve complex network issues related to performance, security, and connectivity - Analyze network traffic to ensure optimal system operations - Develop and implement disaster recovery strategies for network resilience - Supervise and mentor junior network engineers - Collaborate with IT teams to ensure integration and interoperability of networks - Coordinate with vendors for network equipment selection and implementation - Ensure compliance with industry standards, DoD regulations, and DoD ZT requirements as outlined in the DoD ZT Execution Roadmap.
