Responsibilities
In this role, a typical day will include:
- Maintaining the enterprise server 2008-2019 operating systems base image to ensure consistency in baseline OS maintenance.
- Supporting standard change, virtual server deployments, and incident response.
- Providing 3rd level technical support of MECM (SCCM) back-end infrastructure components and support processes for reporting, software updates, and software installation on Windows Server endpoints.
- Remediating issues related to failed patches or applications and conflicts associated with patching.
- Packaging, testing, and deploying new baseline applications, updates to current applications, and/or changes to the base image.
- High-level troubleshooting of common applications and their interactions with the underlying operating systems.
- Configuring, managing, and remediating issues related to Active Directory/group policy.
- Analyzing day-to-day operations and writing scripts to enhance daily tasks.
- Pulling data to develop recurring or one-time reports.
- Building MECM reporting dashboards for service lanes and management to display results.
- Training others on how to use and create MECM SSRS reports.
- Creating complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support automation and reporting efforts.
- Writing scripts and PowerShell programs to automate and refine processes used to support the MECM (SCCM) infrastructure systems and endpoints.
- Creating documentation for new procedures and manual steps to complete tasks for soft hand-offs and cross-training of support personnel.

This position requires a strong background in various technical areas, including expertise in PowerShell scripting, knowledge of Windows Active Directory & Group Policy, and experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM). We seek someone who can multitask to address multiple and often conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating a proactive approach to problem resolution.
The location for this role is on customer site in St. Louis, MO, and US citizenship is required. Additionally, the salary range for this position is $96,815 - $130,985, though actual compensation will depend on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements.
