Responsibilities
As a Systems Engineer Sr Advisor, I have the opportunity to lead a team of engineers in designing, building, and implementing a secure private cloud platform tailored to our unique operational needs. I will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive cloud smart strategy, focusing on establishing a robust and resilient hybrid cloud environment. This involves defining the architecture, security posture, and operational processes for the private cloud, as well as overseeing application migration efforts and ensuring compliance with DoD regulations for handling classified information. My role includes:
- Leading the design and implementation of a highly available, secure, and scalable private cloud platform.
- Developing and executing a comprehensive application migration strategy for transitioning existing applications to the private cloud.
- Defining and enforcing security policies aligned with DoD regulations, overseeing vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response activities.
