Responsibilities
As an Information Technology Support Specialist, I will help transform technology into opportunities. My role will involve providing technical support and troubleshooting for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. I will respond to queries either in person or over the phone. My key responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and/or systems hardware and software.
- Coaching and providing guidance to less-experienced professionals.
- Applying basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions.
- Offering remote support access through desktop mirroring and other remote access applications for global sites.
- Identifying, investigating, resolving, and following up on problems brought to the helpdesk by users of cloud infrastructure.
Description
I am looking for candidates with at least 3 years of related experience and who possess the technical skills to install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software, both in person and via remote access tools. Additionally, an IAT Level 1 certificate is required within six months of the start date, and candidates must hold or be able to obtain a TS/SCI w/Poly clearance.
