- US Citizenship Required: Yes
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional Systems Administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Five (5) years of experience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Two (2) years of experience with Service Management (ITSM) is required.
Responsibilities
- I provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
- I manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
- I assist users in accessing and using IT systems and perform Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of issues.
- I handle account management activities, including establishing, activating, modifying, disabling, and removing accounts.
- I ensure compliance with applicable system security controls through configuration management and implementation.
- I perform periodic vulnerability scans of systems and support day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server, storage, network devices, and mobile devices.
- I implement IAVA security patches and ensure patch status is recorded in appropriate systems of record.
- I optimize system operations and resource utilization, performing system capacity analysis and planning.
- I provide support for escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
