Responsibilities

As a Sr. Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer, I will deliver simple solutions to complex problems. I will work on a development team utilizing Agile scrum methodology to develop and maintain agency-wide Platform as a Service (PaaS) capabilities across multiple security domains. I will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the existing Red Hat OpenShift environment in both Cloud and on-premises (vSphere) settings. My duties will include supporting OpenShift operators and frameworks, deploying OpenShift to new sites, ensuring compliance with security standards, and supporting data services including RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Elastic Stack. Additionally, I will compile detailed documentation and work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms.
