Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer SME, I will work collaboratively with a team of systems engineers and software developers to specify, design, develop, test, and deploy the end-state system using iterative processes like scrum techniques. I will communicate with team leads and senior leadership, adapting swiftly to changing requirements. My core responsibilities will include designing and implementing JAVA Microservices, architecting data integration via REST APIs, and mastering AWS data workflows that involve AWS Lambda, S3, and other technologies. Additionally, I will manage the ingestion and normalization of data from multiple sources, develop technical documentation for program status reviews, and ensure seamless integration with other enterprise service programs. I will also participate in system integration and acceptance testing, guide the writing of unit tests, and oversee the monitoring of applications in production. I will engage in code reviews, design advanced software systems, and mentor less-experienced analysts.
