Requirements

Must:
- Must possess and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Specialized Compartmented Information (SCI) access. - Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Common Access Card. - Strong communication skills, both written and oral. - Willingness to travel 10-25%. - Seven (7) years or more experience in Software Development. - Master’s Degree in a Technical Discipline. - This role is a Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) designated position with specific education, training, or certification requirements.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Developer, I will lead a multi-disciplinary team to support various stages of software development for projects at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division. My tasks will include: - Executing software planning, requirements analysis, risk management, design, development, and testing across all lifecycle phases. - Analyzing user needs to develop software solutions and enhance existing systems. - Working collaboratively with hardware engineers to integrate software with hardware systems. - Performing software lifecycle activities, such as updates, refinement, testing, and debugging. - Advising on documentation and future software maintenance. - Serving as a consultant across programs and potentially coaching less-experienced professionals.
