Responsibilities
At GDIT, we are looking for a SCITLS SharePoint Software Developer Senior to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by delivering 24/7 IT services and network support across various environments, including NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR. Your contributions will help us develop and provide subject matter expertise for SharePoint platforms that support USSTRATCOM. The primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing SharePoint platform solutions.
- Conducting analysis, design, and hands-on development of web-based applications.
- Working with SharePoint templates, customization, and branding, along with web development technologies like HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, CAML, and JavaScript.
- Utilizing third-party SharePoint applications to enhance functionality.
- Building and maintaining all aspects of SharePoint, including sites, site collections, master pages, templates, web parts, content types, workflows, security groups, permissions, and customizations.
- Creating and customizing workflows in SharePoint Designer, ensuring continual updates to the repository.
Description
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following skills and abilities: - Education: Technical training, certifications, or a degree (or equivalent experience). - Required Experience: Over 3 years in Microsoft SharePoint development. - Technical Skills: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, XSL, XSLT, CAML, and/or JavaScript; experience constructing and maintaining SharePoint sites; creating and customizing workflows in SharePoint Designer; incorporating third-party SharePoint applications. You must hold or be able to obtain the following certifications within the specified time frames: 1. ITIL® 4: IT Service Management (ITSM) Certification within 9 months of hire. 2. One of the following within 30 days of hire: - CompTIA Security+ - CompTIA CASP+/SecurityX - CompTIA Cloud+ - ISC2 Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) - ISC2 Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) Additionally, an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility is required. Preferred certifications include ITIL 4 Foundations, Microsoft Certified Power Platform Developer Associate, Azure Developer Associate, Power Platform App Maker Associate, Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Analyst Associate, and ServiceNow Certified Application Developer. The position is located at Offutt AFB in Sarpy County, Nebraska, with a relocation assistance offer of $3000. We also provide a competitive salary range between $96,034 and $126,500, dependent on experience and location.
