Responsibilities

As a Secure Wireless Engineer, my role is pivotal in designing, developing, analyzing, troubleshooting, and documenting wireless network security infrastructure. I will: - Serve as the local expert for Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) Components and manage CSfC architecture. - Perform weekly plugin updates and security assessments, utilizing various tools and referencing DISA STIG policies on the Management Network. - Build, patch, and manage secure End User Device (EUD) configurations. - Manage certificates for secure mobile devices and EUD endpoints. - Develop and modify device configuration files for Wireless devices and WLAN systems. - Design, implement, and support WLANs by performing and documenting 802.11 wireless surveys. - Optimize WLAN performance through Access Point (AP) placement and post-implementation surveys. - Analyze network alerts and log files to determine causes and maintain compliance with CND policies and regulations. - Provide technical guidance and internal consulting to application developers, computer operations, and management.
