Responsibilities
As a SCITLS SAN Administrator supporting USSTRATCOM, you will make a significant impact by:
- Performing systems administration for the enterprise SAN solution; installing, configuring, and maintaining SAN software.
- Analyzing and resolving problems associated with operating system servers, hardware, applications, and software.
- Monitoring systems performance and ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Evaluating everyday systems and performing activities related to SAN software.
- Assisting with configuring and deploying virtual machines and ensuring backups for all configuration procedures are in place.
- Maintaining and monitoring patch releases, designing installation strategies, and upholding systems according to program standards.
- Providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 troubleshooting support, interacting with end users and technical teams from a service support perspective.
- Maintaining the NetApp Storage environment, including LUNS.
- Coordinating and assisting the DAN team with network configurations.
- Managing storage networks for initiators and block storage targets.
