Responsibilities
As a RBS Platform Engineer, I participate in the planning, design, installation, engineering, testing validation, integration, packaging, and documentation of new IT solutions and capabilities within the RBS platform environment. I assist in the operation and maintenance of all RBS server, storage, and network infrastructure, ensuring the timely application of approved cybersecurity patches, software, and updates as required. I also research, design, develop, and modify applications, databases, and data warehouses in the RBS environment, and I am responsible for engineering and deploying the Rogue Blue SWF platform layer (Kubernetes container layer, infrastructure-as-code, and DevSecOps Platform tools - 25+) across three classification levels.

We are USSTRATCOM, a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services crucial to national security. We oversee Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, collaborating closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. The SCITLS program is a critical component that ensures mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

The likely salary range for this position is $144,410 - $195,378. Salary will be determined based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements.
