Responsibilities

As a team member at USSTRATCOM, I will be part of a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. I will oversee key areas such as Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working collaboratively with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. I will serve as the SMPES Integration Enterprise Architect, leading enterprise architecture activities for the integration of multiple program systems into the Strategic Mission Planning and Execution System (SMPES). My responsibilities will include collaborating with area lead architects and system/software architects to design the end-state architecture and manage the architectural transition. Additionally, I will lead the development, modernization, upkeep, and maintenance of the SMPES system architecture, ensuring that all architectural products are current and do not become obsolete. I will create and maintain up-to-date architecture plans and roadmaps and capture architecture metrics.

The likely salary range for this position is $191,412 - $258,970, depending on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements. This position will involve 40 scheduled hours per week, with less than 10% travel required. The job is based onsite at Offutt AFB, USA, and relocation may be available.
