Requirements
Must:
- Active Top Secret clearance; must be able to obtain SCI access after hire.
- 5+ years of experience in database and data management.
- Experience with Oracle 18c or higher, including Oracle RAC.
- Strong skills in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and query performance tuning.
- Proficient in front-end scripting, including JavaScript.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, AJAX, and JSON.
- Experience with Law Enforcement Data is a major plus.
- Familiarity with Linux-based systems hosting Oracle engines.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced environment involving engineering, development, deployment, and maintenance of business-critical systems.
- Ability to translate technical issues into understandable business language for end users.
- Proven skills in establishing and documenting new standards for quality, performance, or productivity.
- Certification: CompTIA Security+ CE (Current DoD 8570 - IAT Level II).
- Education: BS degree; additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Work Location: Hybrid – Onsite in Quantico, VA and remote.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
Responsibilities
As an Oracle Database Administrator with us, you will:
- Create dynamic web pages using HTML, Oracle mod_plsql, Oracle webforms, and Oracle apex.
- Maintain existing Oracle mod_plsql packages, webforms, and Oracle apex.
- Design and maintain Oracle tables and packages.
- Patch and upgrade Oracle systems as required.
- Monitor Oracle environments and maintain security and integrity controls.
- Create and maintain procedures for creating, reading, and deleting critical data.
- Manage data migration, including the migration plan, cleansing, transformation, and testing.
- Verify the accuracy of data and act as a liaison with the business.
- Perform data analysis/testing to validate successful data migration from a legacy database to a new Oracle database.
