- Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Top Secret/SCI - Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: Top Secret/SCI - Public Trust/Other Required: None - Job Family: Network Administration - Skills: Computer Backups, Computer Networking, Local Area Network (LAN) - Certifications: Security+, CE - CompTIA Security+ - Experience: 5+ years of related experience - US Citizenship Required: Yes - Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent experience (4 years) - Certifications: IAT Level III - within 6 months of the date of hire - Security Clearance Level: Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility, eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information, and willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Network Systems Administrator, I will be responsible for: - Installing, maintaining, auditing, and supporting a secure MS Windows network environment and limited web/data application service. - Maintaining internet applications and protocols such as IP, TCP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, and SSL. - Overseeing file servers, firewalls, network access, security monitoring systems, and system documentation as required. - Interfacing with local customers to provide IT-related support for quick problem resolution. - Analyzing and troubleshooting system anomalies to ensure optimal equipment performance. - Performing periodic maintenance, hardware upgrades and replacements, firmware updates, and system configuration changes. - Conducting scheduled tape backups on systems as required and managing data backup libraries. - Attending planning and requirements meetings with IT staff, program managers, and customers. - Preparing systems for operational use and supporting operational tests. - Providing technical guidance and leadership, mentoring, and quality assurance for team members.

In this role, I will work within Special Access Programs (SAPs) to support Department of Defense (DoD) agencies such as HQ Air Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and Military Compartments efforts. This position is vital for ensuring today's safety and tomorrow's intelligence. With a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, and other relevant technologies, I will actively contribute to maintaining and enhancing our IT infrastructure. I must be adaptable and able to interact effectively with various DOD personnel and industry partners to support our mission.
