- Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Top Secret/SCI - Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: Top Secret SCI + Polygraph - Public Trust/Other Required: None - Job Qualifications: - Skills: Data Communication, Network Architecture, Networking Hardware - Certifications: None - Experience: Minimum of 9 years of related experience - US Citizenship Required: Yes - Education: Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience or Master’s Degree with 10 years of experience - Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI - Required Certification(s): - DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II/8140 Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager is required prior to support on contract - IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Certification Security+ or equivalent - Required Computing Environment Certification: minimum of CCNA to start and CCNP within 180 days of your start date

Responsibilities

As a Senior Network Engineer, I will be responsible for: - Installation, configuration, and support of local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), Agency Internet Network (AIN), Intranet and Internet, and other data communications systems. - Maintaining network hardware and software. - Monitoring the network to ensure availability to all system users and performing necessary maintenance to support network availability. - Supervising other network support and client-server specialists while planning, coordinating, and implementing network security measures. - Providing leadership/mentorship to junior and mid-level network engineers. - Overseeing the network control center and providing support to projects involving networks. - Evaluating new network technologies and recommending their integration into existing networks. - Analyzing user requirements and developing network requirements specifications. - Conducting feasibility studies and guiding users in formulating requirements. - Providing technical leadership and incorporating new network plans and designs into ongoing operations. - Developing network architecture documentation and performing integration of new technologies into networks. - Managing the transition and migration of networks and developing network addressing schemes. - Communicating with government personnel regarding technical considerations and issues.

The likely salary range for this position is $97,750 - $132,250, based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
