Responsibilities

As a Systems Engineer Sr Advisor, I take pride in being a critical component of our nation’s safety and security. I am dedicated to making an impact by using my expertise to protect our country from threats. In my role as Lead Systems Platform Architect, I lead a team of engineers in designing, building, and implementing a secure private cloud platform that meets unique operational needs for our SOCOM customer. I am responsible for: - Leading the development and execution of a comprehensive cloud smart strategy focused on establishing a robust and resilient hybrid cloud environment. - Defining architecture, security posture, and operational processes for the SOCOM customer's private cloud. - Overseeing application migration efforts while ensuring compliance with DoD regulations for handling classified information. To excel in this position, I need to have a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree and more than 10 years of related experience. Key technical skills include private cloud architecture and design, application migration and modernization, as well as private cloud security and compliance. Additionally, I aim to build and mentor a skilled team, engage with stakeholders, and advocate for best practices in cloud adoption within our organization.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $131,750 - $178,250, which will be determined based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements. This position requires 40 scheduled weekly hours with 10-25% travel, and it's an onsite role located in Fort Bragg, NC.
