Must:
- I require an active Top Secret SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is essential, accompanied by a minimum of 8 years of experience in application design and development.
- You should have at least 4 years of experience working with Java.
- I expect a minimum of 2 years of experience in high-level design and/or architecting on similarly complex programs.
- Proficiency in Microservices, Spring Frameworks, Docker, and Kubernetes is necessary.
- Experience in a mentoring or technical lead role, guiding an engineering team, is preferred.

- Design, develop, and support Java backend software aligned with mission goals.
- Provide ongoing development, maintenance, support, and enhancements for existing systems and platforms.
- Troubleshoot intricate issues and offer customer support for software systems and application problems.
- Offer recommendations for ongoing improvements.
- Collaborate with fellow engineers to maintain and advance our organizational capabilities.

In this role, you will be engaged in creating highly efficient Microservices on a Linux operating system, utilizing Java and Kotlin, for high-volume data-processing applications within Docker/Kubernetes environments, while applying modern Agile methodologies. You will work with state-of-the-art technologies such as Microservices, AWS, Java 21, Docker, Kafka, Kubernetes, Cassandra, DynamoDB, Kotlin, ReactJS, and Spring Boot/Cloud/Data, utilizing tools like Maven, Node, GitLab, SonarQube, VSCode, and IntelliJ. We offer an attractive sign-on bonus of up to $30,000 for new hires, along with an additional 5 days of PTO for those with TS/SCI with Poly.
