Requirements
Must:
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in JADOCS support
- B.A./B.S. degree (or equivalent experience: 4 years of additional work experience may substitute for a B.A./B.S. degree with an A.A./A.S. degree, then 2 years of additional work experience may substitute for a B.A./B.S. degree)
- CompTIA Security+ certification
- Experience with VMWare, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Windows Server 2012-2019
- US Citizenship is required
- Military experience is desirable
Responsibilities
As a System Engineer supporting the Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS) at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii, you will:
- Initialize, place into operation, and troubleshoot software interfaces of JADOCS
- Assist new users with managing system requirements, including data management and recovery
- Provide over-the-shoulder technical assistance and training to users and maintainers
- Assist with software installation, updates, and fixes
- Apply IAVA software patches and service pack updates
- Aid in fault detection, isolation, and correction of hardware systems and individual components
- Interface JADOCS with external C4I systems, ensuring proper configuration and operation
- Perform routine system maintenance and analysis functions, including hardware configurations and diagnostics
