- Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Top Secret/SCI - Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: Top Secret SCI + Polygraph - Suitability: Public Trust/Other Required: None - Skills: Information Security, Information Security Management, Information System Security - Certifications: A+ - CompTIA, Network Plus - CompTIA - Experience: 2 + years of related experience - US Citizenship Required: Yes - Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent experience (4 years) - Certifications: IAT Level I or IAM Level I - within 6 months of hire (A+, NET+, etc.) - Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI required - Other Requirements: Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2012R2 Server, Microsoft Exchange Server 2010/2016, Microsoft Windows 7/10 operating systems (OS) administration and associated hardware

Responsibilities

- Establishing operational software configuration controls and system interfaces for computer system(s) assigned - Maintaining file servers, Firewalls, network access, Security Monitoring Systems, and system documentation - Analyzing and troubleshooting system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance - Preparing systems for operational use and supporting operational tests - Reviewing, preparing, and updating authorization packages - Notifying customers of changes that might affect authorization accreditation - Conducting cybersecurity portion of the self-inspection’s checklist - Reviewing and providing technical and cyber security coordination on all Bodies of Evidence that makeup the authorization package - Identifying vulnerabilities and implementing countermeasures - Ensuring information systems and network appliances are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies and practices - Performing Video-Teleconferencing VTC System Administration, Scheduling, & Configuration - Providing External Information System(s) Client Support - Performing account creations, changes, & deletions on multiple authorization boundaries - Performing Help Desk & troubleshooting activities - Performing Hardware/Software System Configuration, upgrades and modifications - Performing system and network appliance patching activities - Providing Government-Issued Laptop Support - Assisting in Media Control & Accountability activities - Performing COMSEC account/equipment management activities

Description


The primary function is working within Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, such as HQ Air Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), and Military Compartments efforts. The position will provide “day-to-day” support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities. Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. The likely salary range for this position is $80,770 - $121,156. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40. Travel Required: 10-25%. Telecommuting Options: Onsite. Work Location: USA CO Colorado Springs. Additional Work Locations. Total Rewards at GDIT.
