- Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Top Secret/SCI - Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: Top Secret SCI + Polygraph - Suitability: None - Job Family: Information Security - Skills Required: Information Security, Information Security Management, Information System Security - Certifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security, GICSP: Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional, GSEC: GIAC Security Essentials Certification - Experience: At least 5 years of related experience - US Citizenship Required: Yes - Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent experience (4 years) - Certifications: IAT Level II within 6 months of hire (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.) - Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI required; must be able to attain TS/SCI with CI Polygraph

Responsibilities

As an Information Technology/Information Assurance II, I will support the Department of Defense agencies, providing day-to-day activities related to Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP). My key responsibilities include: - Establish complex operational software configuration controls and system interfaces for assigned computer systems. - Maintain file servers, Firewalls, network access, Security Monitoring Systems, and system documentation as required. - Analyze and troubleshoot system anomalies to ensure optimum equipment performance. - Prepare systems for operational use and support operational tests. - Review, prepare, and update authorization packages. - Notify customers of any changes that might affect authorization accreditation. - Conduct the cybersecurity portion of self-inspections. - Provide technical and cyber security coordination on all Bodies of Evidence in authorization packages. - Identify vulnerabilities and implement countermeasures. - Ensure information systems and network appliances are operated, maintained, and disposed of per security policies. - Perform Video-Teleconferencing VTC System Administration, scheduling, and configuration. - Provide external Information System(s) client support and perform account creations, changes, and deletions on multiple authorization boundaries. - Conduct Help Desk and troubleshooting activities, as well as hardware/software system configuration, upgrades, and modifications. - Perform system and network appliance patching activities and provide support for government-issued laptops. - Assist in Media Control and Accountability activities and manage COMSEC account/equipment.
