Requirements
Must:
- I require candidates to possess a Top Secret/SCI clearance level currently and be able to obtain Top Secret SCI with Polygraph.
- All applicants must be U.S. citizens.
- I prefer candidates to have 5+ years of related experience, especially in developing Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages or bodies of evidence.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience (4 years) is necessary.
- I expect applicants to have relevant certifications, such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security, GICSP: Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional, or GSEC: GIAC Security Essentials Certification.
- Additionally, candidates should have IAT Level II certifications (such as Security+ CE, CCNA Security) or IAM Level II.
Responsibilities
- I will rely on you to assist the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in fulfilling their duties, including preparing, reviewing, and updating authorization packages.
- You will ensure that approved procedures are implemented for clearing, sanitizing, and destroying various types of hardware and media.
- I expect you to notify the ISSM about any changes that may affect the authorization determination of information systems.
- Conduct periodic reviews of information systems to ensure compliance with the security authorization package and coordinate any changes or modifications prior to implementation.
- You’ll be tasked with monitoring system recovery processes and ensuring all IS security-related documentation is current and accessible.
- Keeping audit records accurate and vigilant will also fall under your responsibilities, along with attending required technical and security training.
- I will require you to prepare reports on the status of security safeguards applied to computer systems and perform ISSO duties in support of both in-house and external customers.
- Conduct continuous monitoring activities for authorization boundaries and assist Department of Defense and National Agency organizations with assessment and authorization efforts.
