Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) II

As an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) II with us, I will transform technology into opportunity and be at the forefront of innovation in enterprise IT. My role will involve: - Conducting information system security engineering activities with a focus on the lifecycle of current systems and future requirement scoping. - Collecting and processing information security requirements and ensuring effective integration into information systems through purposeful security architecting, design, development, and configuration. - Overseeing the development, implementation, and evaluation of information system security program policy with an emphasis on integrating existing SAP network infrastructures. - Analyzing network security based on the Risk Management Framework (RMF) with emphasis on the Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) authorization process. - Providing expert level consultation and technical services on all aspects of Information Security. - Leading a team of System Security Engineers and Certification and Accreditation Analysts to ensure national and international security interests are protected. - Recommending cybersecurity software tools and assisting in the development of software tool requirements and selection criteria. - Reviewing ISSE related designs and providing security compliance recommendations. - Supporting customer and SAP community Information Assurance (IA) working groups and participating in reviews. - Assisting with the development and maintenance of the Program Protection Plan and site activation activities. - Performing security assessments of servers, network devices, and security appliances and developing improvements to security assessments for accuracy and efficiency.
