- Required Skills & Abilities:
- Proficiency in Windows and macOS application packaging and deployment, using large-scale system management tools for a user base of approximately 2000
- Ability to interpret Windows system, application logs, and third-party application log files
- Knowledge of batch file scripting, Windows PowerShell Scripting, Visual Basic scripting, and Bash/Shell Scripting
- Experience using Tenable Security Center
- Experience using McAfee ePO
- Ability to create executive summaries of ongoing and potential security risks and threats
- Experience working with change control in a large enterprise environment
- Active CISSP Certification
- Preferred Skills:
- SCCM, Absolute Manage or previous Altiris/Symantec/BigFix/Tivoli experience
- ITIL v4 certification
- Previous team leadership experience
- Security Clearance Level: Ability to obtain and maintain an NIH Public Trust clearance
Responsibilities
As an Information Security Team Lead, I will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. My role will include:
- Administering, maintaining, and operating endpoint management utilities (Altiris, BigFix, and/or JAMF) for 2000 workstations in response to vulnerabilities.
- Creating and administering Group Policy Objects to enforce NIH security baseline configurations.
- Monitoring and responding to vulnerabilities reported through Tenable Security Center and other tools.
- Researching and evaluating new security technologies.
- Staying current on cybersecurity risks and threats facing health organizations.
- Creating custom scripts for deployment and issue remediation.
- Providing tier-three support for Desktop Support/Service Desk for security incident remediation.
- Documenting and evaluating security issues and workarounds using ServiceNow incidents.
- Creating change records in ServiceNow for all changes made to endpoints.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining certification and accreditation documentation for all endpoint management utilities.
- Managing group policies.

The salary range for this position is $75,650 - $102,350, determined based on experience, geographic location, and potentially contractual requirements.
