Responsibilities
We are proud to support USSTRATCOM, a Combatant Command dedicated to strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services that are vital to national security. Our mission encompasses providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments, ensuring the safety of the U.S. and its allies.
As a vital component of our architecture and engineering support, your role will involve:
- Delivering systems engineering and architectural support for AFNWC.
- Providing comprehensive systems and network engineering and architectural planning services.
- Interfacing with operations and sustainment personnel to offer strategic design and support for projects.
- Regularly reviewing existing architectures and recommending improvements while assisting in the design and implementation of necessary modifications.
- Planning and enhancing AFNWC capabilities, with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity in conjunction with the design and implementation of the application layer.
Description
Desired Skills and Experience: - Proficiency in one or more DevSecOps skill areas, such as Collaboration services, Cybersecurity & Risk Management, Enterprise Infrastructure & Systems Management, Network & Communications Technologies, Storage & Mobility, and Virtualization & Cloud Technologies. What You Need to Succeed: - Education: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science. - Required Experience: Over 10 years of related experience. - Security Clearance Level: Willingness to obtain Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. - Required Certifications: FITSP-D, GDSA, CASP+, CCSP, Cloud+, CSSLP, GSEC, or other DoD 8140 qualified certification. Ability to obtain ITIL 4 Foundation – ITSM Certification within the first 9 months.
