Responsibilities
As a Help Desk Technician, I will be responsible for supporting our government client’s activities in the Northern Virginia locations. My responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting to network, desktop, and/or systems hardware and software.
- Screening, referring, and diagnosing internal inquiries and work requests as they relate to the maintenance of personal computers and related systems.
- Assisting with the installation, configuration, and upgrading of computer hardware and software.
- Providing end-user software troubleshooting and support.
- Applying basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend solutions.
- Providing troubleshooting and support.
- Assisting in the administration of e-mail systems.
- Providing phone and help-desk support for local and off-site users.
- Maintaining current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
- Participating in special projects as required.
