Responsibilities

As the ERDC DSRC ISSO Lead, I would act as the primary point of contact for the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) DoD Supercomputing Resource Center (DSRC) Information System Security Manager (ISSM). My role involves maintaining the DSRC enclave’s security posture at an acceptable risk level, providing regular updates to leadership, and managing assignments and tasks in accordance with timelines set by the ISSM. I would lead and direct local ISSOs to ensure compliance with Department of Defense and HPCMPO security regulations. Specific responsibilities include: - Participating in the development and implementation of the cybersecurity program. - Developing procedures to ensure system users understand their cybersecurity responsibilities. - Processing and reviewing DD-2875s. - Ensuring users are trained in cybersecurity before being granted access to DoD Information Systems. - Reporting security violations and incidents to the HPCMP CSSP. - Integrating cybersecurity requirements into Continuity of Operations Plans (COOPs). - Preparing and maintaining security plans, instructions, and guidance. - Assisting the ISSM with RMF authorization packages and in preparing for assessments. - Conducting annual control and plan testing and providing results to the ISSM. - Evaluating the adequacy of security measures. - Advising the ISSM of any changes affecting the cybersecurity risk level. I would also leverage my strong communication skills, both written and oral, and my experience in High Performance Computing.

The expected salary range for this position is between $112,967 - $152,837, dependent on experience and location. The role requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, with less than 10% travel.
