Requirements
Must:
- Currently possess a Top Secret SCI clearance + Polygraph.
- No need to obtain additional clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline.
- 8+ years of related experience in a similar role.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- 3 years of experience with computer systems and networks, specifically with the Linux operating system.
- Ability to perform physical work (lifting servers, network switches, boxes, etc.).
- Desired qualifications include experience in POPs and data centers, troubleshooting OS and network equipment, and using Linux-based tools.
Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, troubleshoot, and resolve critical technical issues within the data center.
- Install and maintain data center server hardware, including storage blocks, servers, patch panels, switches, routers, and large-scale networking gear.
- Use Linux command line for troubleshooting and configuration.
- Participate in on-call rotation for off-hour access to the data center.
- Engage in disaster recovery mock drills and procedures.
- Provide cleared escort as needed for personnel requiring access for maintenance and inspections.
- Light shipping and receiving tasks.
