- Compliance with DoDD 8140.01 and DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II and CSSP Incident Responder
Responsibilities
- Provide CSOC Tier 2 services for 24x7x365 coordination and execution of containment, eradication, and recovery measures for security incidents.
- Analyze malware and forensic artifacts, and handle incident response actions.
- Conduct continuous exercises to improve response outcomes during cyber incidents.
- Document and analyze responses in the authorized ticketing system.
- Produce security incident reports and categorize incidents.
- Coordinate with various teams for incident containment and recovery, ensuring proper reporting and eradication of incidents.
- Build timelines and documents to inform stakeholders of incident response actions.
- Develop, maintain, and execute custom tools/scripts for data collection and analysis.
- Perform digital media and malware analysis to respond to incidents.
- Collaborate with CSOC Tier 1 and 2 services for discrepancy remediation.
Description
The likely salary range for this position is $169,861 - $229,811, which will be set based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40. Travel Required: None. Telecommuting Options: Onsite. Work Location: USA VA Springfield, with additional work locations in USA MO St. Louis.
