Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks, automation, and testing
- Expertise in SQL and experience with Amazon Athena for querying data in S3-backed data lake environments
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as VPC, Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, EC2, S3, and CloudWatch for engineering and support
- Familiarity with Grafana for creating dashboards and monitoring data pipelines
- Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines for automating build, test, and deployment processes for data and pipeline code
- Knowledge of REST APIs and API Gateways, including secure integration methods and authentication
- Experience with React and JavaScript for developing intuitive user interfaces for data workflows and internal tools
- Understanding of ELN, LIMS, and SDMS systems and how laboratory data transitions across these platforms
Responsibilities
- Design, construct, and maintain scalable scientific data pipelines for laboratory data processing
- Collaborate with scientists and engineering teams to ensure reliable and compliant data flows
- Enable downstream analytics and operational tasks through effective data integration
- Utilize AWS services for optimal data management and operational support
- Build dashboards and monitoring tools to track data pipeline performance
- Implement automated CI/CD processes for seamless deployment of data and pipeline code
- Develop front-end applications to enhance data workflow observability and internal tool usage
- Ensure data integration follows best practices in security and efficiency
