Requirements
Must:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is essential.
- At least three (3) years of experience in a relevant role is mandatory.
- Prior experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Office/365 products is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge and proficiency in programming languages, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, PowerShell scripting, JSON, PowerApps, and Power Automate is required.
- Proficiency in SQL Server is required.
- Solid skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are necessary.
- The ability to adapt communication styles between business and technical audiences is essential.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, understanding, and communicating effectively in English is required.
- Ability to manage and organize multiple projects and deadlines is necessary.
- A strong attention to quality, detail, and accuracy is crucial.
Responsibilities
As a SharePoint Administrator, you will act as the subject matter expert for SharePoint and will be responsible for the architecture, design, development, and support of our company's SharePoint system. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Writing well-structured, testable, and efficient code following best software development practices.
- Gathering and refining specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
- Overseeing the creation and maintenance of the SharePoint environment.
- Establishing and maintaining updated end-user access policies and permissions.
- Designing, creating, and implementing user-friendly custom web parts, user controls, and pages for the SharePoint environment.
- Integrating non-SharePoint services into SharePoint applications as necessary.
- Developing or validating regular test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases simulate external interfaces.
- Building user-friendly SharePoint sites within the provided framework.
- Proactively troubleshooting and addressing issues by analyzing data trends.
- Working independently as a subject matter expert and providing timely and precise advice to team members as needed.
- Performing additional duties as assigned.

Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) is on the lookout for a SharePoint Administrator to support our global team in a full-time, in-office role located in Moncton, NB, Canada. Since our inception in 1989, we have played a crucial role in the testing and certification of gaming devices and systems, ensuring compliance with regulations that govern the gaming industry. The normal work schedule is Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, with up to 10% travel required. The competitive pay range for this role is between $75,000 and $85,000.
