Requirements
Must:
- Experience and expertise in data management and analytics solution design and implementation
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and PySpark platforms
- Capability to design logging, troubleshooting, observability, and resilience frameworks for Python PySpark pipelines
- Proven leadership skills to guide a data engineering team for enhanced product delivery
- Active participation in data engineering tasks
- Proficient in either AWS or Azure data analytics visualization stack, with transferable skills between the two
- Ability to define testing strategies and develop reusable components
- Familiarity with asset management and asset servicing in the business domain can be advantageous
- Mandatory proficiencies in GCP Data Architecture, MDM concepts, Data Architecture, Data Lakehouse Architecture, and Dimensional Data Modeling.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of robust data management and analytics solutions
- Collaborate with the data engineering team to accelerate product development
- Engage in hands-on data engineering activities
- Develop and maintain logging and troubleshooting frameworks for data pipelines
- Define and implement testing strategies and reusable components for ongoing projects
- Consult on GCP Data Architecture, MDM standards, and dimensional data modeling
- Ensure adherence to best practices in data architecture and lakehouse design
- Oversee the integration of data visualization tools in AWS or Azure environments.
