Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10+ years of experience in Transportation Management Systems, with over 3 years of direct experience in Blue Yonder TMS SaaS configuration.
- Proven hands-on experience with configuring foundational components and business rules of Blue Yonder TMS.
- In-depth knowledge of shipment planning, carrier tendering, and execution processes.
- Expertise in freight costing, rating, and settlement across various transportation modes.
- Familiarity with integration concepts including APIs, EDI, and data validation.
- Solid understanding of SaaS configuration frameworks with no custom coding.
- Experience using project management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps for tracking requirements and issues.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
- Proficient communication skills to collaborate effectively with business and IT teams.
Responsibilities
- Configure Blue Yonder TMS SaaS modules for transportation planning, execution, freight settlement, and visibility.
- Set up and maintain core master data such as locations, networks, carriers, service levels, and equipment profiles.
- Translate business and operational needs into accurate TMS configurations for inbound, outbound, and intercompany logistics processes.
- Support the entire shipment lifecycle including tendering, status updates, appointment scheduling, and handling exceptions.
- Collaborate with integration teams to facilitate data flows between Blue Yonder TMS and related systems like ERP and WMS.
- Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) from a configuration standpoint.
- Recommend configuration adjustments based on testing results and lead cutover activities for production readiness.
- Analyze transportation performance and make recommendations for process improvements and optimizations.
- Ensure all configuration changes comply with governance, documentation, and change control standards.
