Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience leading end-to-end delivery of MMIS projects, including coordination of timelines, cross-functional dependencies, and defect resolution
- Serve as a liaison bridging internal teams and external partners, ensuring alignment across business, technical, and operational stakeholders.
- Minimum of 6 years managing intricate projects, programs or initiatives throughout a comprehensive project management life cycle, with at least 3 years of Medicaid and Medicare experience preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency in Project Management, managing software development, and collaborating with teams that support cloud technologies (AWS) or cloud migration projects (experience with AppDev teams in the Cloud delivery model, preferably AWS)
- Background in IT application development and infrastructure solution integration
- Established track record in delivering projects using project management methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Excel, Sharepoint/Teams)
- Client-facing experience and ability to adjust to client processes, working closely with client PMs
- PMP certification is preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end management of work items, change orders, and defect resolutions across various MMIS teams, ensuring adherence to contractual KPIs and SLAs.
- Enhance the quality and efficiency of significant projects as we develop innovative, purpose-driven technologies and solutions for our company and clients.
- Direct one or more mid-sized project management teams by supervising smaller components of a larger technological program.
- Fully engage in projects, manage staffing and guide assigned personnel, providing direction and deadlines to ensure high-quality and timely task completion.
- Collaborate with clients, company, and project team leadership, measuring and sharing project metrics while suggesting necessary program adjustments.
- Elevate the quality of project deliverables throughout all program phases by establishing objectives, schedules, and program definitions.
- Support timeliness and quality of projects by recognizing and mitigating risks through status reporting and project updates.
- Participate in internal leadership functions, which include being a Leader On Call (LOC) and coordinating regular syncs to align leadership coverage, priorities, and support for daily operations.
