Requirements
Must:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in healthcare claims required
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Certification as a coder is advantageous
- Proficient in CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding
- Experienced in collaborative teamwork for coding updates and coverage adjustments
- Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Capable of assisting in the creation of manual documentation and provider notifications
Responsibilities
- Prepare materials for client meetings
- Update Operating Procedure Manuals as necessary
- Collaborate with clients on change requests, publications, and claim adjustments/reprocessing
- Research, identify, and propose solutions to issues
- Document updates for all reference changes
- Work with the systems team on assigned system modifications, adhering to timelines
- Assist with quarterly and annual updates for CPT, HCPCS, and diagnosis codes in the system, ensuring compliance and correct edit/audit configurations
