Requirements
Must:
- 6+ years of application development and batch programming experience using Unix, Linux, C, and SQL (Oracle or other database)
- Preferred expertise in Claims, Pharmacy point of sale, and EDI
- Proficient in the complete software development life cycle
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities for program design, creation, and testing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, support personnel, and clients
- Ability to perform as an independent contributor and lead a team as needed
Responsibilities
- Code, test, debug, implement, and document moderately complex programs
- Analyze, design, and draft specifications and requirements for program development
- Assess existing systems and assist the project manager in task assignment while collaborating closely with the team
- Communicate with clients and management to provide technical consulting on complex programming projects, validate program requirements, and troubleshoot emerging issues
- Create test plans and engage in quality assurance activities, including code reviews
- Participate actively as a team member and lead a small sub-team of developers when necessary
- Design system components and assign responsibilities to team members
- Involve in production support activities
