Requirements
Must:
- Over 8 years of experience in application, web, and product design and support across the complete software development lifecycle, familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare technologies is beneficial
- More than 8 years of practical experience in programming languages and frameworks, specifically Java and Spring Boot, in addition to building RESTful APIs and applying API security standards such as OAuth2, JWT, OIDC, and SSO
- Proven track record in modernizing legacy systems by converting monolithic architectures into service-oriented APIs, with robust expertise in SQL and relational databases, including DB2
- Experience in deploying and overseeing applications on Tanzu Application Service (TAS) or Kubernetes platforms, with solid understanding of Docker, containerization, environment configuration, and deployment troubleshooting (e.g., health checks, scaling, memory optimization)
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities, capable of effectively working alongside developers, clients, and leadership through both written and verbal exchanges
Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to design, develop, test, and implement complex software applications that encompass server, client, and web components
- Facilitate closer collaboration between application architects and developers to confirm the design requirements are precise and deliver a favorable return on investment for clients
- Demonstrate expertise in crafting intricate design, coding, and testing documentation to produce a technical product that aligns with client expectations
- Execute essential development, domain, application design, web service, and database methodologies, adhering to best practices outlined by the project advisor and/or architect
- Act as a technical consultant to senior management for complex projects, ranging from modifying existing applications to developing new application modules and components
