Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 9 years of experience managing complex projects throughout the entire project management life cycle, including oversight of project managers.
- At least 5 years of experience working on projects utilizing AWS (AWS certification is a plus).
- Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or an equivalent qualification.
- Strong understanding of budget development, control, and assurance methods, alongside proficiency in project management software, with an ability to translate broader project goals into tangible milestones.
- Proven leadership skills to train, mentor, and guide junior team members, with effective presentation abilities and a talent for creative problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Oversee significant infrastructure projects, including transformational initiatives.
- Ensure operational excellence projects progress as we support clients in delivering improved health and human services outcomes through technology and innovation.
- Concentrate on executing large infrastructure projects while identifying opportunities to enhance performance and minimize risks and costs.
- Lead multiple large project management teams by breaking down extensive technological programs and supporting project managers with staffing needs.
- Take responsibility for the Operational Excellence program.
- Drive project planning, oversight of assigned personnel, and establish deadlines to guarantee timely and quality deliverables.
- Communicate effectively with clients, company stakeholders, and project leadership, sharing project metrics and recommending adjustments when necessary.
- Review and generate project schedules, program definitions, budgets, and objectives to maintain high-quality deliverables throughout all project phases.
- Support project managers and non-direct reports by identifying risks swiftly and implementing solutions for risk mitigation.
- Assist in Gainwells growth by preparing detailed statements of work (SOW) and contributing to business development efforts and new proposals.
