Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management, audit, security, or technical delivery roles
- Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Studies, Information Security, or a related field with equivalent experience
- Familiarity with security and auditing regulations
- Proven experience with audit and compliance programs, including leading audits and remediation
- Knowledge of HIPAA, NIST, MARS-E/ARC-AMPE, and FedRAMP
- Strong and effective communication abilities
- Capacity to work efficiently in diverse, multinational, and virtual settings
- Self-driven and persistent
- Exhibits sound judgment and integrity
- Capability to influence delivery teams regarding security and compliance execution
- Experience as a Security consultant, architect, or engineer
- Knowledge of security management, including information governance and compliance
- Profound understanding and practical knowledge of information security industry best practices
- Familiarity with security processes and standards, particularly NIST 800-53 and/or ISO27001
- Understanding of security audit and accreditation procedures
- Ability to adapt to new security protocols
- California applicants: experience with SIMM and SAM working compliance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee security operational governance activities
- Propel security remediation efforts and ensure adherence to SLAs/SLOs
- Focus on compliance and operational security
- Ensure excellence in security tools and business operations, preventing non-performance or non-compliance penalties
- Manage relationships with Gainwell Technologies suppliers and clients
- Provide presentations that inspire confidence and convey clear Gainwell messaging
- Develop and maintain an account security plan for designated accounts and products
- Oversee and document security incidents from initiation to resolution
- Facilitate audit preparations and manage remediation
- Address security risks and exceptions
- Ensure awareness and application of security fundamentals, policies, and standards
- Escalate and resolve security challenges
- Coordinate the delivery of security metrics and reporting to uphold contractual commitments.
