Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the role of Security Compliance Auditor
- Relevant certifications such as CISA, CEH, PMP, CISM, CRISC, or CISSP
- In-depth knowledge of security and auditing standards, including HIPAA and NIST
- Ability to articulate complex security concepts clearly
- Proficient in working within diverse and virtual environments
- Self-driven with a strong determination
- Exhibits sound judgment and integrity
- Proven ability to influence team members in executing security and compliance measures
- Experience in converting contractual security obligations into tangible deliverables
Responsibilities
- Identify and address the organizations information security audit and compliance prerequisites
- Develop, maintain, and share the companys information security policies and procedures
- Oversee the assessment, selection, implementation, and maintenance of security tools and technologies
- Analyze new or revised regulations to ensure ongoing compliance
- Implement security controls and investigate/respond to incidents
- Participate in business continuity planning as required by regulations or senior management
- Compile reports, business cases, and presentations regarding security risks and compliance status
- Serve as a liaison between IT and legal teams concerning information compliance and audits
- Assist in determining protection needs for information systems and networks
