Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, ideally in a healthcare or technical field
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification required
- Over 5 years of experience in process improvement with a proven track record of leading changes through both direct and indirect influence
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Word)
- Data-focused with strong analytical abilities
- Results-oriented with exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Familiarity with Minitab or other statistical software tools
- Experience within a service, transactional, or technology company, preferably in healthcare (preferred)
- Relevant post-secondary education or training related to essential functions (preferred)
- Additional certifications in Lean Six Sigma, project management, or quality (preferred)
- Understanding of business intelligence visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Assist in defining project scope and objectives while engaging all relevant internal stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility
- Assess resources necessary to achieve project objectives, ensuring their availability and proper allocation
- Create and maintain a detailed project schedule and work plan
- Regularly update stakeholders on project strategy, adjustments, and progress
- Implement industry best practices, techniques, and standards during all phases of project execution
- Monitor project progress and make changes as required
- Evaluate project performance to highlight areas for enhancement
- Guarantee all projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget
- Manage modifications to project scope, schedule, and costs using suitable verification techniques
- Report and escalate issues to management when necessary
- Identify potential project risks and develop approved risk mitigation strategies
- Drive performance improvement initiatives across the organization using modern process improvement methodologies
- Showcase experience in utilizing contemporary improvement tools to achieve results
- Evaluate current business performance against organizational strategies
- Collaborate with diverse business teams to synthesize insights, formulate improvement recommendations, and lead the implementation of initiatives
- Engage with customers and suppliers on improvement projects
- Lead kaizen and other process improvement initiatives
- Utilize advanced knowledge of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to oversee various projects
- Participate in crafting policies and procedures to achieve designated objectives
- Suggest new practices, processes, metrics, or models; translate complex ideas into simple, understandable examples
- Independently determine methods for completing new projects
- May mentor less experienced team members
