Requirements
Must:
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to type 50 words per minute and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook
- One to two years of data entry experience required
- Proficient typing skills, including effective use of the 10-key pad
- Capability to maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
Responsibilities
- Accurately input data from medical claims and attachments, processing documents within a data capture solution
- Verify and evaluate data for accuracy
- Utilize Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Cross-train with other departments such as the mailroom and document control
- Meet established production and quality benchmarks
- Support departmental initiatives aimed at enhancing overall efficiency
