Requirements
Must:
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the healthcare sector, with a preference for Medicaid and Medicare background
- Familiarity with Case Management and Prior Authorization
- Understanding of programming fundamentals like configuration, development, and batch processing
- Proficiency in analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel or SQL, along with experience in requirement-mapping tools like Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
- Exceptional communication skills to convey client requirements into actionable objectives
- Strong analytical capabilities and expertise in business process re-engineering
- Effective executive presence and communication skills for interfacing with business leaders, clients, and technical teams
- Leadership qualities that inspire and motivate team members while simplifying complex technical concepts
Responsibilities
- Play a vital role in ensuring that Gainwell meets client objectives across key areas
- Coordinate the business analyst teams responsibilities and support the development of junior team members
- Act as an informed intermediary among clients, project managers, and technical teams to define, document, and share business requirements and their expected effects
- Collaborate with clients to formulate business specifications at the initiation of technical projects
- Assess, strategize, document, or suggest enhancements to business processes to align with client technology goals
- Confirm that all requirements have been satisfied by reviewing and approving test outcomes
- Utilize basic analytical or relational database software, such as Excel or SQL, to quantify anticipated project impacts
