Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years in a relevant Business Analyst role, with at least 2 years preferably in Medicaid and Medicare
- Over 2 years of Claims experience is mandatory
- Familiarity with Benefit Plan Administration (BPA), including plan setup, rule interpretation, configuration validation, and impact assessments
- Hands-on experience with system configuration processes, such as design and reference data updates
- Bachelors degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and designing business processes while making recommendations for improvement
- Analyze and document client business requirements and processes, communicating them to technical teams through conceptual data and process models
- Develop basic test scenarios to ensure client requirements are incorporated in system design
- Create and modify systems requirements documentation according to client specifications
- Engage in meetings with clients to gather and document requirements and explore possible solutions
- Execute tests based on pre-established test plans and help analyze results
- Take part in technical reviews to confirm project alignment with change intent
