Requirements
Must:
- 6+ years of combined experience in IT, cybersecurity, and/or analytics
- 3-6 years in cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, or similar fields
- Proven hands-on experience in reporting, data analysis, and KPI design
- Proficient in ServiceNow (especially VR, CMDB, ITSM tables, and reporting capabilities)
- Familiarity with cybersecurity data sources such as Tenable, Tanium, Splunk, and similar platforms
- Experience in healthcare or public-sector environments is a plus
- Prior experience in developing or managing enterprise cybersecurity metrics frameworks is preferred
Responsibilities
- Define and uphold a cybersecurity metrics framework (KPIs, KRIs, OKRs) to support executive decision-making and demonstrate program effectiveness
- Create and maintain a data dictionary with standardized definitions for all key metrics (meanings, calculations, interpretations)
- Design and sustain logical and physical data models for cybersecurity reporting utilizing ServiceNow, Tenable, Tanium, Splunk, and other data sources
- Utilize ServiceNow as a primary source for workflow and status metrics; develop and standardize ServiceNow-based reports, dashboards, and potential Performance Analytics indicators
- Apply best practices in data visualization and information design to ensure clarity and relevance of dashboards to stakeholders
- Establish governance for the dashboard lifecycle, including versioning, ownership, and change control
- Collaborate with the Senior Principal of Vulnerability Management to align Tenable and VM-related metrics with risk assessments and program objectives
- Assist Security Leadership in leveraging metrics for strategic planning and effective communication with clients and regulators
- Regularly assess and refine metrics to mitigate metric proliferation and ensure alignment with changing business and security goals
