Requirements
Must:
- I require a minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or technical services, specifically in a help desk or client-facing capacity.
- You should possess demonstrated expertise in hardware installation, troubleshooting, and software upgrades.
- A solid understanding of networking principles and system performance monitoring is essential.
- Experience in managing the entire IT asset lifecycle, from procurement through decommissioning, is necessary.
- You must have at least a High School Diploma or GED; an Associate’s Degree in IT or Computer Science is preferred.
Responsibilities
- I expect you to install, configure, and maintain personal computers, peripherals, and network devices.
- You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues as they arise.
- It will be your responsibility to coordinate and test system changes, upgrades, and the implementation of new software.
- I need you to recommend and implement functional and technical enhancements to our IT environments.
- You will provide desktop support and respond promptly to user service requests.
- You will act as a point of contact for technology support and service outages while ensuring effective communication.
- Managing the procurement, installation, and disposal of computer equipment will also fall under your duties.
- You will coordinate virus protection, patch management, and security updates.
- Participation in performance and volume analysis is expected to optimize system performance.
- Documenting procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference is important.
- You will conduct user training sessions and provide instructional materials as needed.
- Maintaining reliable system backups and ensuring data integrity will be your responsibility.
- Evaluating and recommending the purchase of IT hardware, software, and network components will be necessary.
- You will attend bi-weekly team meetings to review problems and share insights.
- Promoting proactive customer support and maintaining clear communication with end users is essential.
