Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical or Computer Engineering, Networking, or a related field
- 12+ years of product management experience focusing on network-centric or managed network services
- In-depth knowledge of LAN/WLAN technologies, including routing/switching, RF fundamentals, controllers, and cloud-managed wireless systems
- Understanding of SD-WAN and SASE concepts, architectures, and their integration aspects
- Proven experience in developing standard offerings and managing complex, non-standard customer scenarios like Walk-In and Take-Over (WITO)
- Familiarity with crafting offerings that utilize third-party managed service vendors
- Strong skills in vendor and partnership relationship management
- Growth-oriented mindset, proactive working style, and capability to succeed in a rapidly evolving environment with minimal supervision
- Exceptional communication, presentation, documentation, and cross-functional leadership abilities
- Capability to work effectively within a global organization with distributed teams and diverse stakeholders across various regions
Responsibilities
- Define and uphold the roadmap for Managed LAN/WLAN services
- Ensure alignment with GTTs Envision Strategy, promoting automation, visibility, and a cohesive digital experience
- Identify opportunities for AI-driven insights, automation, or enhanced observability to improve customer outcomes
- Monitor market trends and enterprise requirements to inform investment priorities in LAN and WLAN services
- Develop and standardize service offerings across LAN/WLAN including switching, wireless, controllers, cloud-managed wireless, and related operational services
- Provide support for non-standard deployments such as WITO, customer-supplied equipment, and brownfield transitions
- Formulate service constructs delivered by GTT directly or in collaboration with third-party managed service providers
- Lead the comprehensive product lifecycle from business case development, product creation, launch, pricing, adoption, to ongoing lifecycle management
- Oversee pricing, packaging, and market strategies to enhance portfolio growth
- Integrate customer digital experience as a fundamental aspect of new product design, ensuring user-friendly interfaces, measurable results, and smooth customer interactions
- Work collaboratively with Product Operations, Operations, Service Assurance, Engineering, Service Delivery, Sales, Marketing, and Solutions teams to ensure coherent execution in line with leadership objectives
- Enhance digital experience components including onboarding, monitoring, reporting, and lifecycle interactions
- Manage relationships with key LAN, WLAN, and campus networking vendors
- Influence vendor roadmaps, assess capabilities, and negotiate commercial terms
- Participate in the identification and oversight of third-party managed service providers that support outsourced delivery models
- Create compelling business cases that define market needs, costs, revenue, and ROI to secure investments
- Assist in pricing strategies, margin improvement initiatives, and optimization of cost structures
- Utilize operational, financial, and customer data to influence portfolio decisions
- Collect customer and field feedback to refine service offerings and elevate customer satisfaction
- Ensure our offerings align with contemporary enterprise environments, including IoT devices, cloud-managed networks, and multi-site frameworks
- Equip customer-facing teams with clear enablement content and product guidance
