Requirements
Must:
- U.S. Citizen eligible for government security clearance.
- Valid U.S. Passport.
- Willingness to travel periodically both domestically and internationally.
- Entry-level to experienced professional in Computer Science / Software Engineering with a BSCS/BSEE or equivalent education, training, and experience in areas such as Software Programming, Instrumentation Control, Automated Data Acquisition, Digital Signal Processing, and Software Engineering.
- Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Proficiency in programming languages including C, C++, and Java.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and respond constructively to feedback.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement code, create software components, and conduct feature integration.
- Maintain and manage the existing codebase.
- Translate technical requirements into executable code.
- Document software requirements and design specifications comprehensively.
- Conduct RF testing including analysis of antenna radiation patterns, communication systems, data links, electronic warfare systems, radio direction finding systems, and radars.
- Provide ongoing support to fleet forces at U.S. homeports and assist mobile testing platforms in supporting shipyard installations and Coast Guard units.
