Requirements
Must:
- 6+ years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Security Engineering
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cloud security or DevSecOps
- Familiarity with IoT platforms or device management systems is a strong plus
- Exposure to regulatory environments such as FCC, SOC2, or NIST is preferred
- Strong proficiency with AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and containers including Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of network security, VPN technologies, secure communication protocols, and Linux system administration & security hardening
- Proficient in Mandarin Chinese is preferred for collaboration with China-based R&D teams
- Comfortable collaborating across global teams and time zones
Responsibilities
- Oversee security operations across cloud services hosted in the U.S.
- Develop and sustain threat detection, monitoring, and incident response systems
- Carry out security assessments and penetration testing
- Manage IAM, access control, and secrets management
- Ensure adherence to U.S. privacy and security regulations
- Design and uphold CI/CD pipelines across distributed engineering teams in the U.S. and China
- Implement automated security testing including SAST, DAST, and dependency scanning
- Manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code methodologies
- Build monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks
- Support firmware build pipelines for embedded systems
- Establish firmware security and compliance workflows in line with FCC requirements
- Manage vulnerability disclosure and patch management processes
- Coordinate with global teams for security updates and CVE fixes
- Support regulatory submissions and documentation processes
- Implement controls that align with NIST and SOC2 frameworks
- Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory assessments
- Track and report on security metrics and compliance statuses
