Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in software development.
- Strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot).
- Proficient in Vue.js for frontend development.
- Solid understanding of PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Demonstrated ability to manage project timelines and lead development teams in a collaborative, remote setting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily guidance, supervision, and mentorship to junior developers and interns.
- Monitor and review developers' progress to ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and project requirements.
- Conduct regular code reviews to uphold high-quality deliverables.
- Define project milestones, deliverables, and development schedules.
- Track project progression, identifying and mitigating bottlenecks.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
- Ensure timely delivery of features within budget and scope.
- Contribute to system architecture, design, and implementation of key modules.
- Oversee the development of backend services (using Spring Boot, Django/Flask) and frontend frameworks (Vue.js/React).
- Ensure scalability, security, and performance of the system.
- Implement DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing where applicable.
Description
As a member of our Information Technology team, you will lead the development of our cloud-based financial accounting system while playing a key role in evolving our software development practices and technology stack to align with our long-term goals. We seek a strong technical contributor who is also a capable leader, able to guide developers, enforce best practices, and ensure the successful execution of projects. Nice-to-Have Skills: - Previous experience in financial systems or accounting applications. - Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines. - Knowledge of Agile or Scrum project management methodologies. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative workflows.
